The Griswold Inn Store ~ Goods & Curiosities, features an eclectic mix of products inspired by the Inn and New England – from their Early American and maritime heritage to Connecticut lifestyle and entertaining today.

Items include creatively-branded ‘Gris’ merchandise, hand-crafted and Connecticut-made products, limited edition prints of The Griswold Inn’s renowned art collection, home goods, select books, unique toys, artisan jewelry, specialty foods…traditional, whimsical, and contemporary ~ Goods & Curiosities. The Store’s displays and assorted collection of interesting goods are continually changing, promising a pleasant discovery with each visit.

Although all of our store inventory is not available online, our Gris-branded merchandise is featured as well as an assortment of other goods and accessories: we continue to add to our online presence.  Shop online.

We LOVE our books around here and we have an absolutely WONDERFUL selection! Originally stocked for our Inn guests, we have expanded our collection as demand has grown for our eclectic offerings! Our latest Recommended Reads may be found here.

UPCOMING AUTHOR EVENTS

Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, 7:00-8:00 pm ~ featuring interior design dynamo, Nora Murphy. Published recently, her latest book, Country House Living, celebrates the homes – and their home-owners –  that share Nora’s signature “Country House Style”. This event will take place in The Griswold Inn’s Wine Bar & Bistro. You may gather in the Wine  Bar as early as 6:30 p.m. Wine, beer and other beverages will be available for purchase.

Nora Murphy’s lifestyle brand, Nora Murphy Country House, celebrates decorating, gardening , and entertaining, and is home to an award-winning blog; online magazine; the e-commerce site, Hunt Club; and the brick-and-mortar store, The Little Shop in Chester, CT. Previously, Murphy was Executive Vice President of Style & Advertising at Ethan Allen.

The cost for attending the event is the purchase of the book through our Store which will serve as your “ticket” and reserve your seat.
