Essex, the seaport village in which our Inn is located, is situated in the lower Connecticut River Valley which has been deemed one of the “Last Great Places” by the Nature Conservancy. The town is nestled on the banks of the majestic Connecticut River which is a mere 50 yards from our front door! Our charming village is filled with unique shops, galleries and beautifully restored sea captains homes. The surrounding area is interesting to explore as well. Our dining rooms can accommodate small or large tour groups. We have a variety of menu choices and our highly-trained staff will work to make sure that your group leaves having had a memorable experience.
