The Jovial Crew

“Sea Chanteys Tonight” reads the banner that flies above The Griswold Inn every Monday. The Jovial Crew brings our Tap Room to life with this old seafaring tradition, extremely popular today. “Jovial Crew” is a good description for both performers and patrons, a very spirited bunch – and a very spirited evening indeed! This particular Monday is extra special! The Jovial Crew creator and renowned chantey man, Cliff Haslam, marks 50 years of performances at our place! Everyone should experience a Monday night – at least once! The evening honors Cliff AND the 50-year tradition he, and his fellow musicians, have brought to The Gris!
