Essex Holiday House Tour & Holiday Stroll

Always eagerly anticipated, the Essex Holiday House Tour is a festive self-guided walking tour featuring Essex village homes from the 18th and 19th centuries, all beautifully decorated for the Holidays. The event also features a holiday boutique. All proceeds benefit the Child & Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut. Tickets may be purchased at Goods & Curiosities ~ The Griswold Inn Store at 47 Main Street, Essex, just across from the Main Inn. If this wasn’t enough merriment, on this SAME DAY the Essex Holiday Stroll takes place with merchants throughout town featuring special offers, refreshment… It is a wonderful day to spend in downtown Essex. And…please stop in to see us  – after all, there’s NO place like The Gris for the holidays!
