AUTHOR TALK + BOOK SIGNING

Join us for an engaging hour with historian and author, Peter Emanuel, who will be with us to discuss his work of non-fiction, Course Change. Emanuel relays the harrowing story of the whaleship Stonington and it’s unexpected role in the Mexican-American War during 1846. Emanuel researched the story with meticulous detail, using accounts in the ship’s log as one of his primary sources. The event will take place in our Wine Bar & Bistro and last about an hour. Wine, beer and other beverages will be available for purchase.
