The Wine Series is intended to provide a casual forum to learn about wines from regions all over the world. Each event features a wine expert presenting three to four wines for tasting and discussion. Our chef will provide small tastes that are well-matched with the featured wines. A brief cooking demonstration is also included. These wine events offer a more intimate experience and take place in the Steamboat portion of our Wine Bar.

Simone, a member of the family-owned and operated winery located in one of the most famous and notable wine areas of the region,
will be our guide so we can more fully appreciate the wines in our glass  – award-winners year after year!

RIDGE ~ Sonoma Zin Blends

For more than 60 years, this critically acclaimed winery has been famous for red Zin blends
and noted for their practice of producing organic wines from specific, single vineyards.

Thursday, March 23rd
PIATELLI ~ Argentine Reds

Well known for producing some of the highest-rated, “high-altitude” wines in Argentina,
this winery produces its wines from an area considered one of the premier grape-growing regions in the world.

VARIOUS WINERIES ~ A Taste of Spring

A white, rosé and two reds from four different wineries showcase some lighter styles that are just right for the season.

Events are an hour-long and begin at 5:30pm. There is a $25 charge for participation (plus tax and gratuity) and advance reservations are required, 860.767.1776.
