The Great Americans

April 30, 2019 @ 10:00 am

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until May 2, 2019

The Great Americans, currently on exhibit at the Florence Griswold Museum through May 2nd, is composed of 32 seven-foot portraits created by Jac Lahav. The series was inspired by a 2005 documentary on the Discovery Channel, The Great American. Don’t miss this amazing exhibit. A stunning and important show that could easily hold its own in any museum – small or large: we have the good fortune to have it just across the River, a 10-minute drive. Apart from this show, the ‘Flo Gris’ offers so much more for visitors to explore. The Florence Griswold Museum is closed on Mondays.  Stay with us and we’ll offer free admission to the museum. Call for room reservations, 860.767.1776.
